Tumby Bay Snapshot

Updated: Mar 20, 2023

Tumby Bay are looking to improve on last season sixth placing and a finals berth is not beyond them, with their core group profiting from a solid pre-season. The likes of James, Lawrie, Hartwig, Kelly & Fair and the returning Joe Walker will form the nucleus of the Blues rise in season 2022. Further improvement can be expected from the talented McDonald twins, Jagga Cross, Wade Gerrie & Wil Nankivell all of whom showed glimpses of their potential last season. Recruits, Sunjayson Hanuman and Tyson Whitelaw will also enhance Tumby Bay’s chances in season 2022. IN

Tyson Whitelaw coming from West Whyalla

Sunjayson Hanuman coming from Mallee Park

Ezra Foster coming from Cummins Kapinnie

Mitchell Anesbury coming from Tasmans

OUT

Thomas Dupree going to Kenilworth

Baillie Fowler going to Lincoln South

Players on the Rise

Brodie Higgins after winning Tumby Bay’s best under 21 last year playing the role of a small forward with a defensive mindset, in season 2022 you can expect even bigger things from the diminutive rover given more exposure in the midfield to showcase his ball getting attributes.

Oz Richardson, Thomas Allen & Hudson Franks all three of these exciting juniors are on Norwood’s radar and with some quality senior football played last year, expect this highly rated trio to continue their development this season.
