THE HANCOCK HAT TRICK

Saturday's A Reserves game at Elliston may not have gone our way on the scoreboard, but it was a day the Hancock family will never forget.
For the very first time, Club Life Member Kate Hancock lined up alongside both of her daughters, Ellie-Mae and Kenzie, in netball match.
To make the moment even more special, the trio shared the attack end in the opening quarter, with Ellie-Mae at Centre, Kate at Wing Attack and Kenzie at Goal Shooter. It was one of those moments that had plenty of people smiling from the sidelines.
After two years away from playing, Kate proved she's still got plenty left in the tank, covering Wing Attack for almost the entire game. Meanwhile, it was another exciting step in Kenzie's season following her recent A Grade debut, and fantastic to see Ellie-Mae back enjoying her netball after time away at boarding school (and her side quest of becoming a badged umpire).
One thing's for certain... the Hancock girls all seem to have inherited the same speed, determination and ability to cover plenty of court. We reckon that must run in the family!
The scoreboard might not have been in our favour, but the smiles certainly were. These are the moments that make country netball so special. Seeing families share the court together is something we'll never get tired of celebrating. Congratulations, Hancock girls! We hope there are many more family games to come.
And as for the drive home... we're sure Sam enjoyed every minute of listening to the post-match analysis from his three favourite netballers!
