ROUND 13 | UYFNC vs COUGARS

  • Jul 26
  • 1 min read

Another Saturday at The Koo is in the books, and while the results didn't quite fall our way, it was still everything we love about country sport.

Winter certainly put on a show today, treating us to showers, bursts of sunshine and a spectacular rainbow stretching across the Karkoo sky during the afternoon.

A huge congratulations to Matt Crettenden, who celebrated his 150th game in the blue and gold today. Matt has been an outstanding servant of UYFC, and it was wonderful to celebrate such a deserving milestone.

Unfortunately, we'll have to keep the balloons inflated for a little longer for Aaron "Snag" Watson. His expected 250-game (and 251st) milestone has been delayed while he recovers from injury, but we're looking forward to celebrating the occasion properly when he's back out doing what he does best. We can't wait, Snag!

Congratulations also to Beej Moroney from Cougars, who celebrated her 200th game in A Reserves today. A fantastic achievement and one well worth recognising.

A sincere thank you to our Major Game Day Sponsor, Brimanna Poll Merino Stud, for supporting today's home game and our club. We appreciate your continued backing of UYFNC and country sport.

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather, volunteered their time, pulled on the blue and gold, and cheered from the sidelines. Home games don't happen without our incredible community.

We'll regroup, reset and do it all again very soon. Go Eagles!
