ROUND 11 AT TUMBY BAY

Another Saturday of country footy and netball is in the books, and what a beautiful day it was by the sea

The results didn't quite fall our way this week, but there were plenty of determined efforts across the courts and oval, right through until the final siren.

The A Grade footballers saved the drama until the very end, finishing the day with a genuine nail-biter that ended all square. Sometimes you just can't split two determined sides.

A huge congratulations to Mitchell "Mitch" Jolly on running out for his 250th game in the blue and gold. An incredible milestone for a player who has given so much to UYFC over many years. Congratulations, Mitch!

The sea breeze certainly made its presence known from about 3pm, reminding us that winter is well and truly here , but it was another great day of country sport and great company.

With two weekends off from football and netball, enjoy the chance to recharge. Don't wander too far though... we've still got plenty happening around the club over the break, so keep an eye on our socials—we're not disappearing just because there's no scheduled games!

See you all again soon, Eagles!
