250 GAMES — AARON "SNAG" WATSON

This weekend we celebrate an incredible milestone as Aaron "Snag" Watson runs out for his 250th game in the blue and gold... and by the time the weekend is over, he'll have quietly ticked over 251 games!

Snag is the definition of a quiet achiever.

He doesn't say a lot, preferring to let his football do the talking—and for 250 games, it's been saying plenty.

Silky with the footy, almost impossible to beat one-on-one and always happy to sell a little bit of candy before delivering the ball, Snag has been a dependable figure in the Eagles line-up for well over a decade.

His football résumé speaks for itself:

•  10 A Grade Premierships

•  3 Colts Premierships

•  1 Mini Colts Premiership

•  Great Flinders Mortlock Shield – 2011, 2012 & 2018

•  Eyre Peninsula Under 17 Representative – 2007

Like so many great club people, Snag's contribution hasn't stopped when he leaves the field. He has served as UYFC Secretary (2018–2019), looked after club sponsorship, been part of the Social Committee, and has always been willing to chip in wherever the club has needed him.

Whether it's with the footy in hand or quietly getting jobs done behind the scenes, Snag has always let his actions speak louder than his words.
