150 GAMES — MATTHEW "MATT" CRETTENDEN

This weekend we celebrate 150 games in the blue and gold for one of the competition's most courageous footballers — Matthew "Matt" Crettenden.
If you've ever watched Matt play, you'll know one thing for certain... get him the ball and he will get the goal!
Whether it's flying back with the flight of the ball, crashing a pack, or throwing himself at a contest most players wouldn't go near, Matt's courage is second to none. In fact, he's occasionally been known to be just as dangerous to his own teammates as he is to the opposition!
The scary part? He can do it anywhere on the ground.

It's an incredible list of achievements, but one of the most special parts of Matt's career has been sharing it with his brothers in the blue and gold. Although they'll probably still argue over who deserved a few Best & Fairest votes over the years, there's no doubt they've brought out the best in one another and helped shape one of the most successful eras in UYFC history.
For 150 games, Matt has played with heart, courage and an unwavering commitment to his teammates. He's the sort of footballer who inspires everyone around him simply by the way he attacks the contest.
Congratulations, Matt, on an outstanding 150-game milestone. Thank you for everything you've given to the blue and gold—we can't wait to see what the next 150 games have in store.
