150 GAMES — CALIS CAFUTA

This weekend we celebrate a fantastic milestone as Calis Cafuta runs out for his 150th game in the blue and gold!

In true Calis fashion, he even managed to catch the record keeper by surprise. By regularly backing up and playing two games on a Saturday, he quietly ticked over the games until suddenly... it was milestone week!

That probably sums him up perfectly.

Calis is a quiet achiever who lets his football do the talking.

Week after week, he's one of the most reliable defenders in the competition. He gives 100 percent for his team and teammates, and has spent years standing some of the best full forwards in country football. If there's a big job to do in defence, Calis is the sort of player you want taking it on.

He's the teammate every club hopes to have—dependable, selfless and always willing to get the job done. While he doesn't say a lot, when he does speak, it means a lot. Quiet and modest by nature, he'll still make his voice heard when it matters.

Of course, Calis also enjoyed a brief moment of social media stardom earlier this season after the livestream of a UY game caught him having a well-earned rest in the middle of the oval between games. Sometimes you just need to recharge after a big game in defence!
